Public opinion polls within the framework of the "Improving the living standards of people with disabilities through promotion of employment" Program

Starting from May 2012 CDPF is conducting a sociological study by the order of "Save the Children" Armenian office within the framework of "Improving the living standards of people with disabilities through promotion of employment" program.

The research is aimed at identifying the public's attitude towards people with disabilities and their faced problems; in particular, towards the employment of people with disabilities. As a research method the conduct of quantitative research has been chosen and as a tool - a standardized questionnaire.

A mass survey has been carried out with people of 18-64 years of age. As a whole there have been conducted 1005 interviews in Yerevan and in 17 cities of Ararat, Gegharkunik, Shirak and Lori regions (503 interviews in Yerevan and 502 interviews in 17 cities of Ararat, Gegharkunik, Shirak and Lori regions).

In November, the results of the “Report on Public Opinion Poll about Persons with Disabilities and Their Employment" were presented to wide public.
