Reminder - Project Monitoring and Evaluation Training

General Description

Project Monitoring and evaluation is an essential part of project planning, implementation, and management. This training is addressed to heads of organisations and other staff members involved in monitoring and evaluation activities, as well as those who want to develop their skills and knowledge in Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E).

As a result of this training, the participants will gain new experience and develop their skills and capacities in the following spheres:

-           Project Management Cycle and the role of M&E in each stage of the project

-           Types, questions and indicators of M&E

-           Steps of monitoring and evaluation

-           Use of information collection methods in monitoring and evaluation

-           Difference between monitoring and evaluation

Methods of presentation, individual and group work, exercises and discussions will be used for the training. The training will be provided by Diana Ter-Stepanyan, who has several years’ experience as M&E Expert, conducted a number of monitoring and evaluation activities for various projects and programs, and provided trainings and consultations in this area.

Those who successfully participated at the training (at least 80% of the training duration) will be awarded by completion certificate.

The language of the training is Armenian.

 

Location and Dates

The duration of the training is three days: March 2-3-4, from 14.00 to 17.30. The training will be held at Civic Development and Partnership Foundation (CDPF) office, at 35 Jrashat Street (entrance from Zarobyan Str.), Yerevan.

 

Registration Cost and Procedure

The training is free-of-charge for Advocacy Resource Center member organizations. Up to two representatives from each member organization can participate free of charge.

For other organizations, participation fee is 25300 AMD for a person without VAT (30360 AMD included VAT). The fee includes cost of handouts and coffee breaks.

First 5 registered organizations will get 5% discount. For more than one participant from the same organization 10% discount is offered starting from second participant.

To register for the training please fill in CDPF training registration form, and send to Tatevik Margaryan, CDPF Organizational Development and Training Specialist at tatevik@cdpf.am until February 26, 2010.
