Corporate Social Responsibility and Business Ethics

General Description

Although not new in the developed part of the world, the concepts of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) and ethical leadership are making first steps in gaining popularity in developing countries, with Armenia being not an exception. Nowadays many Armenians can hardly explain what constitutes to be a good corporate citizen, which is quite often confused with engaging in charitable activities. It is obvious that any for-profit entity is mainly concerned with earning and accumulating wealth, but the current worldwide trend is that this is not the only determinant of their existence and long-term success. More and more businesses realize that they do not operate in a vacuum; continuous interaction with different stakeholders is critical, with serious considerations for the environment, economically vulnerable populations, and the society as a whole.

In light of the above, it is therefore paramount to raise ethical competence and integrity standards of local managers for them to succeed in today's competitive and highly demanding world. With this in mind, the given training is aimed at familiarizing the audience with the theoretical framework for corporate social responsibility and business ethics, addressing the issues of its practical application, and exploring its contributions and limitations to the society.

Training

General Description

The practice has shown that only the possession of the tools is not enough to hold the new market research. The problem is that if there is no market for a product or service that you have, or demand, then you didn’t know how your innovation or a new one created by you may be demanded. The answer you will get to participate in the training.

It is addressed to all interested individuals and organizations who want to improve their knowledge and skills in the field of market research and analysis, to acquire the skills to perform the job effectively.

As a result of the training the participants will:

  • Learn about new product market research features;
  • Be able to compile the necessary tools for research;
  • Will reveal a new service in ICT sector and get acquainted with market innovation analysis.

The following topics will be included in the training:

  1. New markets and trends.
  2. Necessary instruments for new market research.
  3. Mechanism of market analysis for the creation of innovative business,.

The training will be conducted in an interactive manner, including presentation, group work, individual tasks and exercises. Handouts with concise information on the topic are distributed during the training.

The training will be delivered by Karen H. Sargsyan (PhD), who is CMCE (Certificate in Management Consulting Essentials Program) participant and management consultant accredited by the IC (Institute of Consulting UK), participant of e-learning course of Trigon (Austrian-Germany) Consulting company known for "Organizational Development" and future expert, as well as advocacy specialist and business consultant.

The participants will be awarded by participation certificate.

The language of the training is Armenian.

Location and Dates

The duration of the training is 6 hours: February 28, from 10.00 to 17.30. The training will be held at Civic Development and Partnership Foundation (CDPF) office, at 11/5 Proshyan Street, Yerevan.

Registration Cost and Procedure

Participation fee is 22000 AMD for a person. The fee includes cost of handouts, lunch and coffee breaks. For more than one participant from the same organization a 10% discount is provided starting from the second participant’s fee.
